I have written about this before, but blogging should be a key part of your website.
The second most common objection I hear (the first being “time”) is “I have nothing to write about”.
Not true.
Let’s say you have 5 personas in your business. 5 ideal types of customer.
Then, lets’ say you have 5 stages in your sales funnel.
And in each stage of your sales funnel, each persona has 5 (probably unspoken) questions they need answering before they can move to the next step.
Answer those questions. If you have 5x5x5 then you have 125 questions to answer. You can, of course, adjust this for your own numbers, but whichever way you look at it, you have plenty to write about.
I’d be inclined to start with 1 persona, then work through your sales funnel and list all the questions for each stage. If you brainstorm those questions, you should have anywhere between 10-25 questions in total.
Start blogging. One post for each question.
Then, when you have finished addressing the questions for that persona, move on to the next. This way, even if the questions (and answers) are similar, enough time will have passed so that revisitng the same question in your blog again can’t hurt. Provided of course you do actually rewrite it for the next person and don’t just copy and paste your previous one!
