With so many of us working from home at the moment, we need to approach team communication a bit differently. There’s no substitute for the serendipitous moments on the office when speaking with team mates in person, but there are tools that can help to give some sort of digital equivalent.
Slack is one of those tools.
I recently ran a live online session for Rockhampton’s SmartHub, starting from the very beginning:
- creating a workspace
- inviting team members
- some basic customisations
- a run down of how it all works
I have tried to run this in such a way that you can play this video and actually set up your own Workspace while it’s playing – so if you don’t have Slack for your team and would like to use it, you’re in the right place!
