There have been a few articles circulating recently about Apple Maps being incorrect: marking businesses as closed when they’re not and showing the wrong location.
In this example from the ABC, the business owner had no idea until a customer asked him about it.
Which leads me to the next question: How often do you check your business listing on Apple Maps? If you’re like me, probably never!
So I checked our listing just now, and it was incorrect. It had an old address that hadn’t been updated. Whoops!
How do you check and fix it?
If you have an Apple Device, it’s pretty easy. Open Maps and have a look.
